Preparing Flash files for ad implementation

  • Flash should be published as version 6, 7, or 8. Should function in Flash Players 6 or higher.
  • Frame rate should be set at 18fps or lower.
  • In order to optimize the campaign, the click-thru URL will be assigned dynamically by the adserver. Please make sure to send URLs upon submission of ads.
  • Click-thru URLs should not be embedded in the FLASH files. Instead of referencing the actual click-thru URL directly in the getURL Action, the clickTag variable must be embedded, which will allow the adserver to execute the correct clickURL and track clicks.

Please apply the following code to the click layer of the file:
on (release) {getURL (clickTag, "_blank");}
